Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Negen. By using Negen, negen.ai, app.negen.ai, or hosted Negen services, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who can use Negen

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live.
  • You must follow these terms and the law.

Accounts

Hosted web and mobile web require an account because they use hosted auth, hosted provider calls, synced storage, and usage limits. Desktop account requirements may vary by feature.

  • Use an email address you control.
  • Keep your sign-in method secure.
  • Do not share accounts, create automated accounts, bypass testing allowlists, or abuse free usage.
  • Tell us if you believe someone accessed your account without permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of the messages, characters, files, and other content you bring to Negen.

You give Negen a limited license to store, transmit, process, display, and transform your content only to provide the service, including hosted replies, voice generation, history playback, sync, security, support, and features you request.

You are responsible for content you import, upload, or ask Negen to process.

Character limits

Negen is a character product. It is not a human, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, emergency service, or authority on reality. AI replies can be wrong, incomplete, or emotionally convincing in ways that still deserve caution.

Do not rely on Negen for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or emergency decisions. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Negen to harass, exploit, threaten, or harm people.
  • Do not generate or share illegal sexual content, sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits vulnerable people.
  • Do not use the service for malware, credential theft, spam, fraud, platform abuse, or bypassing security controls.
  • Do not attempt to extract other users' data, reverse engineer hosted provider credentials, overload the service, or evade usage limits.
  • Do not present AI output as human output when that would mislead people in a harmful or illegal way.

Providers and third-party services

Hosted Negen may call third-party providers such as Cloudflare, Convex, Resend, Inworld, model providers, and later Paddle for billing. Those providers may have their own terms that apply to their services.

Free usage, paid plans, and refunds

Hosted Negen may include a small signed-in free allowance so people can try the hosted service without payment.

Paid hosted plans are not live yet. When they launch, the checkout page will show the price, renewal terms, included usage, and refund process. Paddle is the likely merchant-of-record for hosted billing.

Refund terms will be detailed when paid plans launch.

Service changes

We may change, pause, limit, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves. We may also suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms, creates risk, abuses free usage, or harms the service.

Disclaimers

Negen is provided as-is and as-available. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, always available, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Negen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.
